was established in 1999 as a service provider especially for the converting industries.

At this time first class service as well as a quick and cost effective supply of replacement parts were requested.

24 hour availability of our service technicians, of course also on weekends and on public holidays, today and in the future is our understanding of first class service.

Beyond that the requirements of our customers became significantly more complex and were increasingly focused on engineering solutions.

What started as optimization measures at existing machines advances to the development to individual system components through to fully automatic industrial machinery.

Aiming to respond even more quickly and flexibly to the needs of our customers, we opened a new production site near Munich in 2007.

Due to the growing demands of our customers the construction of a new company building was necessary in 2010. A modern production hall of approx. 400 m² as well as an office area of approx. 200 m² were built on a plot of approx. 2500 m².

In order to meet the growing market demands and to increase our manufacturing capacities, the construction of a new production hall becomes necessary.

Since November 2013 we are certified according to ISO 9001 and ISO14001.

SG Nickl’s vision is to implement specially designed automation solutions with a particular focus on modularity, user-friendly maintenance and human-machine interaction while incorporating the latest software ambitions.

We are passionate about implementing automation solutions for our customers, with a focus on customer satisfaction. In doing so, we draw on the experience of our first-class service and insights from state-of-the-art technology.

To ensure a long service life for our systems, we focus on the flexibility and future viability of all components. This requires modular interfaces within a system, both mechanically, electrically and in the software. This enables rapid integration into the IT company environment and trouble-free expansion or adaptation of the application.

The demands on the industry are increasing with the progress of digitalization. SG Nickl strives to combine process and application solutions with state-of-the-art software solutions.

Machine safety, application solutions and functionality are a matter of course for our products. In addition to these aspects, we continue to provide our customers with support and assistance. This includes, above all, support with maintenance, retrofits, integration into the process environment, repairs and much more. SG Nickl’s decades of service experience flow directly into the solutions we offer, making user-friendliness and the future handling of our products our top priority.

Based on this experience, we are always interested in innovations such as predictive maintenance, big data and IT security issues in order to advise our customers on optimized maintenance, faster remote support or data management to save costs. With this expertise, we are also happy to support other machine manufacturers and tackle the major challenges of the future together.

Furthermore, we are aware that the interaction between man and machine is a special component of automation.
This includes user-friendly HMIs, collaborative robotics, ergonomic manual workstations and state-of-the-art sensor technology for working with moving components with moving parts.
